Anonymous asked: Favorite scene from any movie?
Oh… Great question. Jesus… How about 5 great scenes, no particular order or importance other than I love them?
1: Duckie lip synching Otis Redding’s Try A Little Tenderness in Pretty In Pink
2: John McClane calling 911 from the roof of Nakatomi Plaza to report the terrorist takeover in Die Hard. When told 911 is for emergencies only he responds (in what is an amazing line read from Willis) “No fucking shit lady! Does it sound like I’m ordering a pizza?”
3: The breakfast scene in Peter Jackson’s Dead Alive. Our hero Lionel feeding some kinda mush dosed with sedatives to zombie versions of his mother, nurse McTavish, the local preacher and a thug from a graveyard motorcycle gang. Nurse McT and the preacher start to get frisky just as a visitor enters the house. When Lionel leaves the room to confront the visitor we are left with a very awkward zombie sex scene… Which both Lionel and the visitor listen too. When asked about the noise Lionel covers by admitting he is watching one of his dad’s old stag movies… The one with the donkey and the chambermaid. (That zombie sex results in a zombie baby, if you were wondering).
4: Leon: The Professional’s shoot out in Matilda’s house that results in her parents, sister, and kid brother dead. Afterwards Gary Oldman’s only concern being the hole shot through the arm of his suit coat. His performance alone in that film absolutely makes it for me.
5: I’m totally Gay-them for Jason Statham… So anything he is in.
